The past few weeks have brought a lot of rain to the area, which has been great, less watering on my part! The rain and sun has created a growth riot out there and we’ve enjoyed the benefits.
We went “home” to visit the family last weekend and we took salad with us, there was enough for two separate meals!
We also have some things that are starting to produce fruit. We have some tiny tomatoes growing on most of the tomato plants, the pole beans and wax beans have put out a few tiny matchsticks of soon to be beans. The sugar snap peas have produce two pea pods (both immediately eat off the plant, I couldn’t resist!). The zuchinni has some excellent blossoms and the cucumbers are sending out arms with little blossoms. The Chard and Kale continue to grow larger, which I didn’t think would happen, I thought they were going to go the way of “dampening off”.
